The MEI Collection is a contemporary porcelain design series created through the collaboration between Hollóháza Exclusive and TOTHBORI Home. The pieces elevate the meeting of tradition and modern design to an artistic level.
Hollóháza porcelain carries nearly 250 years of knowledge and heritage. Since 1777, it has played a key role in establishing Hungarian porcelain craftsmanship, and its collections can be found all around the world. Among its new collections, both classic and modern forms appear alongside exclusive and everyday designs, as well as ornate and minimalist decorations. While preserving tradition, the brand also places great emphasis on introducing innovation.
The collaboration with the TOTHBORI fashion brand’s Home line represents an opening toward modern table culture. The shared creative vision aims to combine the modern aesthetic of TOTHBORI Home and the beauty of its original patterns with the pure, refined forms of Hollóháza Exclusive.
The pattern draws inspiration from Euphorbia pulcherrima, commonly known as the poinsettia. The gold print moves beyond its natural source and transforms into an abstract, independent floral motif. The contrast between the radiant gold petals fading in a raster pattern and the white porcelain surface creates an atmosphere that is at once classic and contemporary.
The MEI Collection consists of a tea set for two, an espresso set for two, and scented candles with lids in two sizes. The message of the sets celebrates shared experiences, intimacy, and the moments of togetherness.
The scented candles contain handcrafted natural elements and are free from synthetic ingredients. The lidded vessels are refillable, and even after use they can continue to live on as decorative objects with new functions within the home.
